You can deal a TON more damage if you can constantly maintain 10 minions.

You can't have that same combo and still maintain good energy. You would need perhaps a skill like Offering of Blood to replenish some energy instead. That removes an elite slot on your bar though.

Well i am using glyf of lesser energy (-15 energy cost to one cast) so my flesh goldem costs nuthing or minions cost 10 insted of 25

Anyway... A MM with 10 fiends up will outdamage any fire storm. Also, if you took your points out of fire and put them in Soul Reaping you'd get energy each time one of them died. That's more than enough energy to keep you going/animating.
I run a pretty old school build for MM in AB and it works very well.
16 Death
9 Blood
9 Soul Reaping
7 Healing
Offering of Blood {E}
Dark Bond
Heal Area
Blood of the Master
Animate Horror
Animate Fiend
Verata's Sacrafice
Verata's Aura
I don't use Flesh Golem because I like the energy from Offering of Blood. I use a 20/20 wand and 20/20 offhand with bloodstained boots and +energy armor. It works for me.
If you're looking for a Flesh Golem build there are quite a few out there and a peak at the Necromancer forums will help.
Good luck.
EDIT: If you're hell bent on maxing damage (at the expense of self-protection/energy managment) drop the blood attribute and put the points in curses. Then add something like Mark of Pain or Barbs. 6-8 minions hitting a target/mob w/ MoP or Barbs adds up to a lot of damage really fast.

So you are using 3 X lv 3 runes? dam thats 225 loss of life? How do you overcome that?

Mark of Pain causes AoE scatter. Barbs works, althought I'm not too thrilled about it (especially in Cantha, with the multiple-enemy battles)
